While Myths and Muses Events is a new company , event planning is far from new to me. From retreats and themed gatherings to intimate celebrations, I’ve spent years bringing creative visions to life. Here are a few kind words from people who’ve experienced events I’ve led, hosted, or helped bring to life.

“I had the privilege of attending the BBC (Bardic Book Club )writer’s retreat in July of 2025 and I cannot state strongly enough how much I enjoyed it. The weekend was well planned out, from getting picked up at the airport, to the food and activities, all the way to the airport for the trip home. Not once did I have to worry that something wasn't prepared for me and in fact, I was surprised by all the extras goodies that were included.

I cannot wait to attend more events planned by Samie and her company because I know I am guaranteed to have the time of my life!”

“I attended the writer's retreat in July 2025 and it was one of the best events I have ever done. The admission and fees were so easy and simple to sort/pay. Everything was carefully planned and put together with clear instructions, and Samie was open to questions/comments/feedback throughout the process. It was a smooth transition from the plane to the location as I travelled quite far. Every hour we spent at the retreat was allocated for something, so there was no shortage of things to do even during downtime with everything planned to the minute! I can't recommend Samie enough, as she really was so great at organising and facilitating this event and I cannot wait to attend future events!"

Co-running The Literary Society with Samantha was such a fun experience. Sam was the front runner for a lot of our events and always seemed to come up with new ideas. She was always the one keeping us organized and has a natural talent for creating spaces where everyone feels welcome. I got to see firsthand how creative she is and how well she handles the chaos that comes with event planning. I have no doubt her new company is going to bring that same energy.

I attended the Rebellion Murder Mystery (The Literary Society). The story, the clues, the character everything was creative and easy to follow. Samantha kept the pacing perfect and made sure everyone felt involved, even people who usually hang back. I’m pretty shy and it was my first time doing something like that. She helped me along and I ended up having a great time!

It’s hard to make new friends as an adult, but attending the Galentine Brunch (Literary Society) made it a lot easier! The food was great, the activities were actually fun and everyone was really nice and accepting. Samantha led activites to help us all get to know one another and feel connected. I left with new book friends and great memories.
